The 11th European Farm Conference, 7th-9th September, 2018

Dear devotees and friends I am very pleased to warmly invite you to the 11th annual European Farm Conference, held this year from 7th to 9th September at the KRISHNA ECO FARM (Karuna Bhavan) the home of ISKCON Scotland.

Our theme is "The Turning Point : shift in awareness, economy and mode of goodness, vision for the youth."

The theme is an attempt to bring us closer to the essential connecting point between the initial phase of the movement and a new scenario for the movement, the mode of goodness practised by a critical mass of members. This shift in awareness pushes the society towards an economy which is locally resilient & takes into consideration the whole ecosystem of life which is intrinsic to the bhakti yoga process. At the same time it offers a place for the youth to situate themselves with a sense of purpose and authenticity within the mission and the world around us.

There will be a variety of subjects covering many aspects of agriculture and cow protection and community building.

Special guest speakers. Among the speakers will be H.H. Smita Krishna Swami, Kalakantha Prabhu (GBC IMCPA), Praghosa Prabhu (UK GBC), Ajita Prabhu (New Govardhana, Australia), Prabhupada Prana das (Krishna Eco Farm, Scotland) and other speakers from our ISKCON eco-farms in Europe and speakers from GEN (Global Village Network) a network of more than 10,000 villages worldwide.

The topics of the conference range from an equation to produce dairy ethically, the relation between restaurants and the bhakti movement, seed-banking, youth engagement programs, how to build a network and many others. The full program will be shortly available. Please print the poster and place it on your notice board, and send it to your networks through facebook and other social media.
